Floor (oversize) jigsaws

If your puzzle is larger than we can cut on a scroll saw (about 55x55 cm if square, 60x42 cm in more often used dimensions) we can manage the process of having your puzzle laser cut.

Even with laser cutting there are constraints to size imposed by printing, mounting and cutting machinery. These constraints change as machines and technology changes. We have designed and co-ordinated the cutting of puzzles up to ~0.9x1.7 m. Individual pieces of these puzzle should be no smaller than ~100 x 100mm. Larger sizes are possible in principle by using direct printing of images onto board, but to date we have avoided direct printing because of the quality of these images.

Price guide: A single, large puzzle is likely to cost around $700-1000, depending on size and the extent of our involvement. Price decreases for multiple orders. We can assist with design and printing. Contact us to discuss your ideas..

Small runs of jigsaws

For smaller puzzles, laser cutting is sometimes more economical than handcrafting if you want 50 or more puzzles cut with individually large pieces (~10 cm x 10 cm).
